Financial Update
Hey all, I thought since this was Tax Day 2017, it's only appropriate to give a financial update on our adoption expenses. I have often looked at that grand total and been so overwhelmed by the impossibility. We're coming out of the hardest financial and emotional year of our life and there is simply no way we could do this on our own. So I wanted to say thank you - thank you to everyone who paid for a puzzle piece, bought an item from our online auction, purchased an ornament, will wear a t-shirt and contributed through paypal or AdoptTogether. As of today, every dollar has added up to a grand total of $9,880 paid to adoption expenses!!!!!!!! Can you believe it?? We are so grateful for each and every one of you!!! Thank you for your investment in our family.
Below is a breakdown of what we've paid so far and upcoming expenses. We are in the midst of a fundraiser (bonfire.com/we-heart-baby-shoe) hoping to raise the $1,750 needed to complete our home study. Once we are home study approved, we will be eligible to apply for grants. Our plan is to apply for any and all grants possible! Hopefully, we'll be awarded grants to cover the majority of remaining costs.
