Shoe Family of 3

We are now a family of three!!! It is with overwhelming joy that we announce the birth of our daughter, Audrey Eowyn Shoe. On May 18, 2020, our beautiful girl entered this world. We were invited in to watch her first breaths, we held her in our arms and knew our lives had changed forever.

We will not be sharing details about Audrey's birth mother. That is not our story to share, but we ask that you pray for healing and peace for her. We have an open adoption and it is our intention to keep building a relationship with her as long as she is willing.

When I have a moment to gather my thoughts, I'll give more details about how/when we were matched, what the hospital experience was like and our first two weeks at home. Thank you all for your support over the years. It has been so much longer than we ever imagined. She was worth the wait.
